  • Brian Horsak ist ein passionierter Forscher, der eine klare Vision hat: die Verbindung von Technologie und Gesundheitswesen, um innovative medizinische Lösungen im Bereich der Ganganalyse und Rehabilitation zu entwickeln. In seiner Forschung geht er der Frage nach, wie innovative Technologien wie Motion Capturing, Wearables, muskuloskelettale Simulationen, maschinelles Lernen sowie Augmented und Virtual Reality die Patient:innenversorgung im Bereich der klinischen Ganganalyse und Rehabilitation maßgeblich verbessern können. Er verfügt über mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Forschungsprojekten, der Einwerbung von Drittmitteln und der Leitung von Forschungsprojekten auf nationaler und internationaler Ebene.
  • Auszeichnungen: Er erhielt mehrere Best-Paper-Awards bei internationalen Konferenzen, gewann den Niederösterreichischen Innovationspreis 2021 und belegte den 1. und 2. Platz beim Innovationspreis der Österreichischen Medizinisch-Technischen Berufe 2016 bzw. 2021.
